Pluviax ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Pluviax platform and services.

By using Pluviax, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information: Name, email address, username, and password (managed securely via AWS Cognito)
  • Profile information: Display name, bio, profile photo, portfolio, location, and other details you choose to provide
  • Commission data: Details of commissions you create, accept, or participate in, including messages and uploaded files
  • Payment information: Payment confirmation details for commissions completed through the platform. We do not store payment card data
  • Usage data: Pages visited, actions taken, and interactions with the platform
  • Communications: Messages sent through the platform's commission messaging system

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Pluviax platform
  • Process commissions and facilitate payments between Buyers and Creators
  • Send transactional communications (order updates, account notifications)
  • Respond to support requests and resolve disputes
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with:

  • Other users: Public profile information (display name, portfolio, bio) is visible to all visitors. Commission details are shared only between the parties involved
  • Service providers: AWS (infrastructure and authentication), and other trusted vendors who assist in operating the platform
  • Legal authorities: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure located in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Secure authentication via AWS Cognito
  • Access controls limiting who can view your data
  • Regular security reviews and monitoring

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or preventing fraud).

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal and operational requirements

Pluviax uses browser localStorage and session storage to maintain your login session and preferences. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.

Pluviax integrates with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

  • AWS Cognito — authentication and identity management
  • Amazon S3 — file and image storage
  • Google Fonts — font delivery

10. Children's Privacy

Pluviax is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
